Donations for the following items can be the items themselves or money to provide the financial resources for Sierra Vista to purchase the items.

 

Program Wishes:

  • Clothes for Boys 2-10, Girls 2-10, and Children shoes 6-13
  • Hygiene items for teens in counseling: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, deodorant, etc..
  • Fresh fruit for children in programs.
  • New Bedding & Towels for our group homes (comforters, sheets, mattress covers & pads, towels, etc.)
  • 14 new twin vinyl-covered mattresses for the group homes
  • Bottled water for our Residential Treatment Homes
  • Craft and Art Supplies for group homes, Outpatient Counseling and non-public school 
  • $300 for 6-weeks of family counseling sessions for a family not covered by Medi-Cal or private insurance
  • School clothes for a child in our group homes or gift cards to purchase clothing
  • $200 for two children in our group home to participate in little league football
  • $100 to purchase a new holiday (Halloween, Christmas, Easter) outfit for a child in our group homes
  • Baby items for the infants in First Step (cribs, baby swings, car seats, etc.)
  • Music lessons for a Foster Child
  • $50 for children to go to batting cages
  • Swimming lessons for one child (approximately $50)
  • $25 Registration fees for basketball, soccer and flag football leagues  
  • Rent a musical instrument for a Foster Child
  • Backpack and school supplies to a child in a Sierra Vista program 
  • Gift certificates to be used as incentives for good performance in many of our programs  
  • Beauty supplies for teenage girls (keep ethnic diversity in mind for purchases)
  • Gift certificates for manicures and/or pedicures - for teen girls in our group homes and moms in our substance abuse recovery program
  • Child Safety Lock kits to present to Parenting Class participants
  • New board games
  • New books or used books in good condition for non-public school libraries
  • Sensory motor equipment like the large balls that a child could roll on or squeeze balls, jump ropes, etc
  • Basic Kitchen Set
