The early intervention program provides comprehensive child and family counseling services to families with children from birth through fice years of age. The primary goal of the services offered through the Early Intervention program is to provide early identification and intervention to the child and family in order to prevent more serious problems later in the child's life. Childcare consultation services and outreach are provided to schools, teachers, daycare providers, and family resource centers. Stanislaus Behavioral Health and Recovery Services and the Children & Families Commission provide funding for this program in an effort to assist children, families, and childcare providers in obtaining early and preventative mental health services.
