1. Call Sierra Vista at 209-523-4573. Our staff will assist you and answer all your questions during regular business hours. After hours, or if all lines are busy, you can leave your number and we will return your call as soon as possible. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. You can also complete the donation form on this page and we will contact you to answer any questions.
    

2. We will schedule to pick up your vehicle. We can take any vehicle including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and RVs. The vehicle does not need to be running. Free towing is provided distance permitting.
    

3. We will take care of the paperwork. Current registration is not required. You need to provide proof of ownership, such as a pink slip. We will complete the DMV ownership transfer and mail you a receipt. Once the vehicle is sold, we will send you a tax donation receipt. Normally this will be within 30 days.  

 

Your car donation is tax-deductible!

The value of your donation is much more than the tax break you may receive for the children and families helped through your donation. Through our Vehicle Donation Program, Sierra Vista has received over 6,000 vehicles in the past five years. Vehicles do not have to be operational and the value is a tax deduction. At the time the vehicle is towed you will be given a receipt for your records.
