Carelon Behavioral Health Strategies program provides outpatient services for the treatment of mild to moderate mental health impairments for beneficiaries with full-scope Central California Alliance for Health (CCAH) MediCal. CCAH beneficiaries call Carelon Behavioral Health Strategies at (800)765-9700 for screening and authorization.
Head Start
Head Start is a collaborative program between Merced County Office of Education and Sierra Vista that provides education and support for parents of children ages 0-5 who are struggling with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
iMatter
iMatter is a program for children K-12th grade that teaches social-emotional skills aimed at reducing impulsive and aggressive behavior while increasing social competence. The goals of the program are to improve classroom environments, improve parenting and improve behaviors in children.
Innovative Strategist Network for Youth (ISN-Y)
ISN-Y (Innovative Strategist Network for Youth) is referral-based case management, family, and clinical services to youth ages 0-17. The ISN-Y program works with youth with mild/moderate mental health issues to support youth who have experienced failure within the system.
Such failures include but are not limited to:

Limited access to Medi-Cal and/or healthcare professionals

Lack of family and community support

Face stigma and discrimination

Disconnect with service providers
Road to Resiliency (R2R)
R2R (Road to Resiliency) works with pregnant women with known histories or current substance use and mothers of substance-exposed infants through interagency collaboration and integration of services. Navigators will provide community health education, navigation of the health care system, and community linkages throughout a Family Resource Center using a strength-based approach.
Therapeutic Intervention Program (T.I.P.)
The Therapeutic Intervention Program (T.I.P.) provides school-based mental health counseling to schools in the Merced Union High School District, Delhi Unified School District, High, and Los Banos Unified School District. This program provides services for students. Clinicians provide screening and assessment to identify social, emotional, and behavioral symptoms. Individual, family, parent, and crisis counseling are available to assist students and their families with specific issues that significantly interfere with their level of functioning.
